F.A.Q
How long have you been into craft beer?
I got into craft beer during college (UNCG). Greensboro had a lot of great microbreweries and I just began to frequent them and try new beer. The first craft beer I probably ever tried was Natty Greene’s “Wildflower” Wit.

What inspired the name “Black Beer Chick”?
It started off as a dream that turned into a reality. The story is really simple. I’m a black girl that drinks craft beer. (I’m almost a unicorn.)

What the difference between “Beer Chick” and “Black Beer Chick”?
I’m sure I wasn’t the first to label themselves as a “Beer Chick”, and I probably won’t be the last. However, it is important for me to connect with other women in the craft beer industry and the brand “Beer Chick” aims to do that. While I identify as a Black Woman, and often share my experiences as a “Black Beer Chick” navigating the craft beer community; it is important for me to also celebrate, empower and connect women who find themselves wanting to pursue a passion, hobby or even a career in beer.
Woman can do any and everything and “Beer Chicks” are infiltrating the male dominated craft beer industry on a daily basis!
We don’t accept limits and we constantly push against the grain. This brand represents who I am and what I stand for. I’m a “Black Beer Chick” whose main goal is to connect “Beer Chicks” around the world.
